Dream in High Park

Welcome to Dream in High Park - a stage for all of Toronto!

Dream in High Park is one of Canada’s largest and longest running outdoor professional theatre events, taking place at the picturesque High Park Amphitheatre, and welcoming over 30,000 audience members to the park each year. Dream has grown into a large-scale cultural event that runs throughout the summer: an inclusive family-friendly event that provides accessible access to art and engages the local community.

We invite you to explore everything Dream has to offer and can't wait to see you in the park!

Under the open sky of Toronto’s iconic High Park, Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy comes to life. When Viola is shipwrecked and disguises herself as a man, she sets off a whirlwind of mistaken identities, mischievous schemes, and tangled romances.

As disguises unravel and hearts collide, Twelfth Night delivers laughter, music, and the joyful chaos of love. Pack a picnic, gather your friends, and enjoy a summer night of theatre under the stars.

Dream in High Park tickets are already affordably priced at $35 per ticket, and thanks to our sponsors and donors, we are able to offer a highly subsidized extra-low-cost option for performances of Twelfth Night. Rush tickets are available:

  • For $20 each
  • Available at the gate only, beginning 30 minutes before each performance
  • First come, first served until inventory sells out
  • Payments can be made via cash or card. Regular price tickets are available online up to the performance start time.

Join us for Subscriber Night in the park on Wednesday, July 22 or Tuesday, July 28.
Subscribers to the 26.27 Main Stage Season can book their complimentary tickets by contacting the Box Office.

Join us for Dog Night on Wednesday, July 29.

Bring your pup and enjoy a special evening of theatre under the stars

Please Note: Patrons are responsible for the behaviour of their dog. Dogs must remain leashed at all times in the Amphitheatre. We ask that patrons only bring their dog if they are friendly with people, other dogs, and can be in crowds. If any dog is disrupting the performance or other patrons you may be asked to relocate or leave.

We are thrilled to offer backstage tours of the High Park Amphitheatre at 6:30pm prior to the performances of Twelfth Night on Tuesday, July 21 and Tuesday, September 1.

Backstage tours are only open to ticketholders of that evening's performance.

Patrons wishing to attend the backstage tour must present their tickets for that evening's performance of Twelfth Night.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration will be available early July.
