- Invitations to the first read-through and dress rehearsal
- Pre-show reception with your guests
- Post-show toast with the cast and creative team

Your generous contribution supports artists, artisans and creators, and ensures productions are resourced to meet the high level of quality you expect from Canadian Stage.
Donors may select a production to underwrite or co-underwrite with others. You will be recognized on marketing materials for the production, on the cover of the house program, thanked from the stage on opening night, and receive complimentary tickets.
Donation minimums may vary for marquee productions and on productions in our largest theatres.
Underwrite a Performance | Donation of $10,000+
Choose your favourite production in the season and pick a date to be the performance underwriter. You will be recognized as the underwriter on that performance date with the opportunity to invite guests to join you.

EmpowHer | Donation of $15,000+
The EmpowHer Fund propels women artists and creators to the largest stages of Canadian theatre in two ways: by rallying support around anchor female-led productions and supporting the work of women playwrights in our New Work Development Department. We are gathering a consortium of donors who are passionate about championing women and women’s causes to support this priority initiative.
Founding Donors commit $25,000 annually to the fund over three years to provide sustainable funding, supporting both its immediate impact and long-term outcomes. Supporting Donors contribute $15,000 or more per year.
EmpowHer Founding Donors are recognized in house programs, on our website, and in donor listings. An annual event is coordinated around a selected women-led production each year, offering this group of supporters an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and meet the artists directly supported by the fund. Founding Donors are also invited to readings of new work by women playwrights during our annual Festival of New Theatre.

BraveWorks | Donation of $25,000+
The BraveWorks Fund enables Canadian Stage to program boundary-pushing productions like Playing Shylock and Fairview, multi-disciplinary works like Assembly Hall and Mahabharata, and non-traditional international programming like The Shadow Whose Prey the Hunter Becomes. This fund ensures that Canadian Stage continues to program
challenging and important work - work that upholds freedom of expression by artists and playwrights and is often difficult to secure public and private funding for.
Founding Donors are recognized in marketing materials and house programs affiliated with one production each year and receive complimentary tickets to use throughout the season. Become a BraveWorks Founding Donor with a commitment of $25,000 per year for three years.
