ABOUT THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Canadian Stage is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and sales-minded individual to manage and sell merchandise at performances of our holiday pantomime, Cinderella.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, has a natural flair for sales and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. This is an opportunity for someone who is motivated, entrepreneurial and excited by the prospect of earning additional income through commission on merchandise sales.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales position. Ther Merchandise Manager will be responsible for staffing our merchandise kiosk at performances, engaging directly with audience members, promoting products and generating sales. From welcoming families before the show to serving enthusiastic patrons during busy intermissions, you’ll be the face of our merchandise operation.

In addition to selling, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the kiosk, including merchandise displays, inventory, payment processing and sales reporting.

You must be available to work approximately 35-40 hours per week between December 1 and January 3, including all performances of Cinderella (performance schedule available online).
